These are lovely and very sturdy. I was surprised by their weight. The blue is so beautiful, it looks 10x better in person than it does in any of the photos I viewed prior to purchasing.Arrived in perfect condition, see they were thoughtfully packaged so the dishes didn’t move around in the box.They’re classy and modern, and I’m proud to serve guests with these, they look much more expensive than they were.10/10 would recommend:

This is a perfect set! I ordered a second set just to have a more complete set. Came well packaged and they have proven durable in the dishwasher. Also very basic but well presented look. Many compliments and people thought they were a much more expensive set.

We love these dishes!!! We have 3 sets of them and they are just lovely. Dishwasher safe, and can reheat food in the microwave without them cracking and becoming too hot to handle like the last “microwave safe” set we had.

Great quality, fantastic color, and feels substantial. I bought this set for my son as something just to get him by until he decided what he wanted-because I didn’t like eating off paper plates when I visited, lol. I’m so pleased with them. They are stylish and a substantial upgrade from the paper. I’d definitely recommend this set to anyone starting out or just replacing your used stuff. Only thing I’d do differently next time is to buy two sets! Seriously good deal.

Very pleasing to use. Doesn’t feel flimsy and I like the appearance. I dropped a plate on the floor and it just bounced. Same with a cup/mug into my sink. This is very sturdy dinnerware. I hadn’t noticed if it was microwave safe when I bought it so I tested it (30 secs on High while empty) and it didn’t get burning hot like non-safe does. Then I found the safe notice on the bottom and laughed at myself. I would buy again for sure.

I have to be honest, for the design, I wouldn’t have picked such a plain set (I like color) but it matches, close enough, the throw-away serve-ware I purchase at Costco. If I’m serving more than 8 people, these dishes and the throw-away ones can be used together and the table setting still looks nice. They are very sturdy and, best of all, can be heated in the oven without starting to “check”, as pottery will do.

These are beautiful plates. Didn’t rate durability yet. I have a problem with payes and bowls chipping and looking forward to seeing how these do. I purchased the teal set as well as a purple set as I have a large family.Update.. got the purple set and as the shape and sizes are the same the outside of the bowl and coffee cup are black with purple on the inside.. not quite the look I was going for when I set the table.

Bought two sets for me nearly 3 years ago, and till today they look great. I never encountered any issues with discoloration, cracking, chipping, not handling microwave well, I never questioned the quality. I don’t have a dishwasher, so I can’t confirm anything related to it. This is a ted, slightly heavier than what I grew up using, but barely noticeable and not enough for me to care since it matches my marine table setting (I live in Hawaii). I think the sizes are traditional without anything being too big or too small, so I’m glad I bought these and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for something simple, inexpensive, yet durable.

I bought the purple plate set, and sure enough, two of the beautiful bowls were broken. I have never used Freeson Ceramics customer service before, but I will say they were absolutely wonderful, and helpful and made it right, and then some… very pleased with these plates colors are just like the picture. Bowls are real bowls, that hold alot of cereal ;wonderful addition to my black and grey and silver kitchen. Thank y Freeson Ceramics for fixing my situation so quickly (24hrs.) I am one happy customer .

Great value! Such a deal for service for four porcelain dinnerware. I read the reviews before I purchased two sets. Hard to agree with some of the criticisms because if you are careless with anything, it will break…even the most expensive items will! I found the blue set to be a bargain. Yes, there are a few imperfections but they are hardly noticeable…who cares…this is every day dinnerware. Bowls are nice size, a little awkward for dishwasher bottom rack..so put them on top rack. Dinner plate is nice size, little flat plate is small, use them for dessert, use bowls for salad/cereal/soup, mug is perfect size..not too big. And, I can use all my white serving pieces that I used with my other dinnerware. This dinnerware replaced my everyday blue and white Franciscan Denmark and it matches so great I can mix the pieces together. They are not too heavy, attractive, and such a deal!

I didn’t use the dish set yet because I just got it today. Almost Everything looks and feels is as was expected. The bowls feel heavier than I thought but I am not complaining. There’s nothing fancy about this dish set it has a very basic design but I wasn’t trying to impress anyone. I purchased it because I wanted microwaveable dishes and the price was good.

I’ve had the gray Soho Lounge set for about 4 years now and it is still like brand new. I’ve dropped and broken a couple of the bowls but I can’t count that against the set because almost any ceramic would break when dropped on a hard floor. I was able to find replacements online but the cost of 2 bowls were within a couple dollars of a new set so I just purchased a whole new set. Now I’ve got service for 8 in everything except bowls. The dinner plates are quite big so if you have a small microwave there’s a good chance they won’t spin on the turntable. Other than that, this set is amazing for the price!

I absolutely love! After reading mixed reviews I decided to go ahead and purchase anyway because these were available in my favorite color and appeared to be durable. I took various pictures as I was unpacking. I checked each piece for chips and cracks and I found a couple of questionable spots on two plates but it was not chip or crack, just what I call a natural indentation barely noticeable. I used them at breakfast this morning and my husband and I are well pleased. They are large enough to satisfy his needs and pretty enough to satisfy mine.

I was looking for a dinnerware set for six. I spent a considerable amount of time browsing all over. Buying two sets of these was less expensive than anything comparable in design. Out of the box they look fantastic. The color is spot on and the black finish is stylish and discrete. They feel solid and have a comfortable weight. They look much more expensive than they are. I have only had them for a few days but they all went through the dish washer and hand washing with no damage. They do get hot in the microwave but for me this is not an issue. Honestly I can’t see faulting this dinnerware at this price.they didn’t meet expectations in quality then I can see the complaint if you get a chip or they get hot in the microwave. A serving set of four is thirty-five dollars! They are outstanding at twice the price. They look better than sets I looked at many times the price.Even if you’re not on a budget I recommend this dinnerware set.If they disintegrate en masse after a few weeks or months I’ll update this review.76 people found this helpful

This just arrived. Love them! Recently had a fire in my home. At this price, it was less expensive to buy 2 sets of these dishes than have the restoration company clean and return my old ones! The dishes (black trim) look great, too!
