    We wanted new plates/bowls for the holidays, and we are so excited about these.The color is beautiful, and we were so happy to see the slight lips on the edge of the plates that will keep juices and such off of the table.It looks like something out of a restaurant, and the weight of the plates/bowls makes them feel quite sturdy.We haven’t used them yet, so we can’t speak to scratches or fading colors, but they arrived perfectly safe and on time.
    Shoptherapy
    The red/burgundy glaze is rich and deep looking and these pieces are substantial and solid. I would agree with others that the there are minute differences in the glaze on the various pieces, but I see that as a plus, not a minus. If anything, it makes the whole set more interesting and makes it look like they’ve been hand glazed and cost a lot more than they actually did. I also don’t see any real difference in color between the first set of four and the second even though they were purchased several weeks apart. The packaging was superb and all pieces arrived in pristine condition.
