Absolutely beautiful plates. The color is a true porcelain white, there are no blemishes on the glaze, they are lightweight, stylish and beautiful. This may sound ridiculous, but those annoying Made in China labels were, annoying, yes, but easier to take off than in most other dishes I have bought.One person found this helpful

I bought it to lay my long selenite crysal on so I could place all my other crystals around it to cleanse them. Makes it easy to pick the whole thing up and move them – its exactly what I was looking for.

Beautiful Dish. My sister-in-law needed something for every day use as well as entertaining and this was the perfect gift. It can go in the freezer, oven, microwave & dishwasher. Her word for it was Regal. Perfect size for so many dishes, meats, vegetables raw or cooked, fruits, or a cheese & cracker display.

I bought these sushi plates so when our five grandchildren come over to spend the night I can serve them “letter pancakes” in the morning and actually spell out a three or four letter word. In the past the best I could do was place one or two letter pancakes at a time on their round dishes, but with these plates a whole new vista of possibilities are opened up learning words while at the same time eating your breakfast. And there is nothing like devouring your opposition before a big soccer or baseball game. The dishes would probable be good for their intended purpose also – serving sushi.

This little platter is great, and amazingly versatile. I’m surprised at how often I use it, for everything from serving a home-made bread loaf, to an antipasto plate, and of course, perfect for small roasts. Its elegant yet simple “whiteware” look works as well with formal and casual dinners, as appropriate with bone china as it is with stoneware. 5 people found this helpful

Really happy with this purchase. Porcelain is the best surface for mixing watercolors, so I bought it to use as a palette. Watercolors behave really well on it, flowing in a nice, smooth wash with no beading, and it cleans up spotlessly (is that a word?). These arrived quickly and wrapped carefully. They have a nice weight to them and feel sturdy; even being tossed into a bus pan with several other heavy platters, it wasn’t scratched or marred after a long trip in the catering truck. For the money, a great purchase! 3 people found this helpful
