I was a little wary of ordering these, because I saw some of the reviews mentioning that they were breaking easily.But they’d been on my list for almost 7 years now, so I took the plunge and I personally can report no breakage whatsoever.I don’t know if I got lucky and got a particularly durable set or something, but I have dropped a cup, smacked a plate on a corner by accident, and they’ve been in the microwave and dishwasher.Still no chips or breaks!

What a great set.The color drew my wife in.The shapes, being different, caused a second glance.The ease of storage, the weight of each item and the wonderful stackability that seems to allow for more stacking is quite efficient.The ease of rinsing the dish as you set it in the sink wife hates it when I don’t put it in dishwasher makes for ease in loading the dishwasher later.For those that buy dishes because the needed some dishes.look around, and think about it.This is different from what I ever would have expected and I am so very pleased.

Love, love, loooove my royal blue set of plates/dishes! Since I’m a single man, I wanted the theme of my kitchen to rock hints of dark, royal blue and black so when I saw this set Freeson ceramics, I snatched it up swiftly.They’re so easy to handle, pop in the dishwasher when done and load on top in my cabinets when clean again.Of course, like all ceramic, you must handle and care with care…but these plates are not delicate and/or chip easy.

Absolutely love this dish set.The coloring looks great even thoigh there is some variation to the coloring in each piece and each piece looks slightly different but they still look great.They are definetly not thin or easily breakable.They are heavier but not to heavy.Very large in size you can fit a little bit of everything for a thanksgiving meal on one plate!I have now had 2 sets of these for over 2 1/2 years and have only managed to break one plate and that was only because i accidently knocked our HEAVY glass salt and pepper grinder out of the cupboard 3 ft down directly on the outer part of the plate.The plate did not shatter into glass dust or small pieces, only had 3 large pieces to pick up and throw away.There is no signs of wear and tear or chips on these dishes and like i said ive had tbem for 2 1/2 years and we eat 2-3 meals at hone daily.Very good quality.

These are beautiful plates. Didn’t rate durability yet.I have a problem with payes and bowls chipping and looking forward to seeing how these do.I purchased the teal set as well as a purple set as I have a large family.Update.. got the blue set and as the shape and sizes are the same the outside of the bowl and coffee cup are black with blue on the inside.. not quite the look I was going for when I set the table.

For years I’ve been going through hand me downs from my family, I was fed up and got my own set.Single guy here so if some break I don’t care, this set is made for four people.The build quality seems excellent, the bowls especially I was interested in because I like large bowls of soup and this delivered.I was used to the 1990s bowls which are very small portioned.Now I can put a large amount of soup in one bowl and stop having two or three separate bowls of soup from the 1990s style soup bowls. Also of interest are the coffee cups, very good. The cups are large and this is good because I am a thirsty man. There’s smaller plates and larger plates as well.The small plates are much larger than the 1990s style and the dinner/lunch plates in my mind at least are very large which is very good.Overall I am happy with this, thank you

After 20 years of Round plates, somehow the food tastes different on these square ones.Great set of dishware, reasonable price and they look great!I never heard of Gibson Plates before, until i ordered these. When they came and I was throwing out my 10 year old set that was still in great condition, just missing a few pieces due to breakage and a few cracks i turned one over and low and behold, they are Gibson Too!Fast shipping, though they did split the order for some reason Dont hesitate buying these.

I originally bought these because I have a set very similar to these from the company better homes so I figured they would be about the same …they truly are!! except the sizing is a little bit different …the bowls are a little bit bigger the plates are a little bit smaller and then the mugs are a bit smaller than the regular ones I have …but the color matching is absolutely on point it looks like it came with the set I originally bought.

I expected them to be a bit cheap looking honestly. Instead they are gorgeous, durable, and I LOVE THEM! Will order another set so I have a full table. 🙂

My daughter wanted these as a gift. They are very pretty but I worry about them chipping from normal use. A little pricy for what you get considering you can buy dish ware much cheaper, but it is beautiful.

After 30 years of using the Same dishes, my wife decided it was time for a New Set. I just dropped off the old dishes at Goodwill, these New ones are Perfect. We ordered TWO sets, so we have place settings for 8. Thank u fresson ceramics.

I love these dishes!! They are nice and heavy. The color and design is gorgeous. I’ve put them in the dishwasher numerous times and they still look like new.

I bought these used…They arrived in a very heavy box, in maybe 5 boxes inside a big box. They feel very heavy and are so beautiful. I noticed tiny imperfections on 3-4 items. It doesn’t matter though. I think it adds to the beauty of the crackled ceramics. A few white spots and two brown spots. Still very much happy with the set.
