Very smooth surface.I’m super careful with them.Love most of the designs.Great small plates.Strong and sturdy, got a little weight to them that makes the plates feel professional, but feels delicate in the sense that they’re so pretty and you don’t want to ding them whatsoever.

Bought with matching mugs.Great for every day use, especially breakfast, just the right size for bread or croissant.Also came in an unique semi-open packaging which looked nice.

We have mix-and-match dinnerware in my house for everyday use, mostly Japanese and Scandinavian design blue and white dishes, with a few others in greys and black thrown in.I just don’t like the matchy-matchy look much, and find the eclectic look fun, not to mention practical over time when it comes time to replace items.These little plates are just darling, and fit in beautifully with our other dishes and bowls. They are sturdy, but not overly heavy, and a great size not only for tapas, but also desserts, snacks, side salads, bread and butter, and even as a holder beneath small dipping bowls.They add elegant punch to the table, and bring a smile to my face when I see them.Actually, I purchased these while my husband was away, and was worried that he would not take to them.Not only did he like them, but a couple of weeks later, he asked me to order another set! We use them all the time.They work well with any coordinating color dishes, not only the other freeson ceramics pleased with the purchase, and highly recommend these versatile little cuties.12 people found this helpful

Love the varity and they remind me of the ocean.I always favored blue and white in my kitchen and in dishes. These are worthy of using for almost any occasstion. They are so sturdy ; I’m sure they will be in my grand daughters home.Not that they are not beautiful these size for best.Cups and bowl may be next. Dinner size plates are too big for our family.WE eat samll protions and the smal plates fit great in the dishwasher.

Being that blue is my favorite color, I’m glad I found the tapas plates here (for the best price, I might add).Served homemade tapas style meal in these and they were a hit! Even made some homemade icecream and served on the tapas plates.So far, I’ve used them in the microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer.No issues so far and the colors are as vibrant as new.I like the weight of these.Not too heavy nor light, but enough weight to not be flimsy nor too heavy on the wrists.They are good quality and not like delicate china.I’ve also used them to serve foods that might ordinarily leave colored food stains on Tupperware but nothing has stained these so far.Glad I found them!

I bought this because I wanted a Blue Willow covered sugar bowl to replace the one I had when the lid to my former sugar bowl broke. I very much like this product. It’s a very good and good-looking everyday sugar bowl. It goes will with my blue and white everyday china, which is not exclusively Blue Willow. It’s also just the right size for me: not too large, not too small, and not too heavy when full. It looks delicate, but it is sturdy, and I use it every day for sugar in my coffee and tea. The imprint on the bottom of the bowl states that the product is freezer-, dishwasher-, and microwave-safe. However, I’ve not tried it out in any of those ways; I hand-wash it, just to be safe.

I have a set of Johnson Brothers Blue Willow dishware and love it. I used only 1 month a year and it brings joy to my life to do so. It is very durable but can break – thank goodness you can get replacements.

This is the best investment I think I have ever made not only beautiful, it is dishwasher safe, freezer safe, and most of all what we all like Microwave safe. I would tell a friend in a minute.

Very pleased with my Johnson Bros Blue Willow. After checking out many, many new patterned everyday dishes, I decided I just wanted to replace my Churchill Blue Willow that I have used for Twenty plus years with Johnson Bros Blue Willow. What can I say, the pattern is timeless.

Prior to ordering I was worried based on previous review.Howefer, I took a chance as I wanted this as wedding gift. I’m so glad that I trusted my self and some positive feedback from some reviewers. I’m extremely happy about my products. They arrived on time and all the 20 pieces were intact.The colors are stunning and they look so expensive. Packaging can be improved as there wasn’t enough cushion at the bottom of the box. That said all pieces were intact. I will definitely recommend this dinner set and Johnson Brothers to future customers
